Rules And Information This area of the site is crucial for all new members. Come here to become familiar with the rules, learn the plot, and get information on races. Please be sure to read over the content on this board before posting on the site. Once you are familiar with how things run around here, put in your character application and join the war!
Character Creation and Index (9 sub-boards) This should be the first place on the site you actually post in after reading the rules and information. Follow the posted application template to register your new character. Once completed, an admin will respond to tell you if the character is accepted or not. Please do not post until after you are accepted. Once accepted, your thread will be locked and your character's profile will be added to the index. All characters are organized by race. If you want information on another user's character, their profile will be available to you here. Moderators: Merrique Calavera, Runa Freyasdóttir, Matt Kiernan
Out Of Character (7 sub-boards) Any posts that are not role play should go here. We encourage use of this board so that our members can get to know each other on a level beyond just in-character posts. New topics for discussion will be posted weekly for members to give opinions and insight on. Also, if you have a public argument or complaint, it is advised that you post it in the OOC rather than the chat box or role playing threads. All public debates will be moderated by a staff member to keep things from getting out of hand.
Beyond Reality Guest Center (2 sub-boards) This board is open to all guests. Come here with questions, concerns, or if you are just on the fence about joining and would like to get to know the members a little bit. Also, if you would like to affiliate, please leave your request on this board to be reviewed by the staff! Moderator: Runa Freyasdóttir
The Forsaken City Districts (5 sub-boards) Once a thriving city, it was taken over by a violent tribe of Vampires known as the Brotherhood of the Sun and is now ruins. All the buildings are boarded up so that the Vampires can take to the indoors during daylight hours. The undergrounds are a city in themselves. Here humans live under the close watch of their blood drinking overlords. As the Vampires live in posh luxury, the humans struggle to survive in the squalor that is their neighborhoods. Unknown to the Brotherhood of the Sun, the city is also home to The Resistance. A bitter uprising is brewing within the city and it is only a matter of time before it boils over. This city is extreemly dangerous to all who enter who is not of the Blood. Anyone who is not of Vampire kind who enters is fair game... Moderator: Him
Club Alley (7 sub-boards) From dance clubs to fitness centers, Club Alley has it all. Come here for a good time and you may leave with a little more than you bargained for. Club Alley is the social hub of the post-Beyond Reality world. Inside of these bars, concert venues, and lounges, you can find members of every race interacting with each other. Whether you are an elegant Vampire hoping to spend an evening sipping exquisite blood in a posh lounge or a cheeky Shifter looking for a good old-fashioned barroom brawl, this is the area of town to be. Just be careful who you go home with, though.
Resteraunts and Coffee Shops (3 sub-boards) Taking you interspecies couple out, or wanting to hang out with anyone and everyone? These are where you should dine. In this brightly lit area of town you will find anything your food-consuming heart desires. Whether it's pie from a greasy spoon diner or some five-star cuisine, you will be able to get it here and maybe make some friends along the way. This side of town is very popular with humans and Weres because of the lack of Vampires in the restaurant district. However, the Vampires are aware of this being a hotbed of "lesser" activity and often send in spies to observe and report any suspicious acts.
Hotels (2 sub-boards) For those only visiting the city, they only have two options when it comes to places to stay. In order to keep an eye on those going in and out of the city, the Brotherhood of the Sun has designated only two hotels in which outsiders can stay. The hotels are owned and operated by Brotherhood spies in order to keep an eye on everything that happens inside. These hotels are the very best and worst of what the Forsaken City has to offer. If you are an extremely wealthy visitor, you will want to stay at the Hilltops Hotel. However, if you are like the general population, the other option is not so savory...
The Great Forest (3 sub-boards) Beyond the reaches of the Forsaken City, there is a vast and ancient forest that few venture into. It is dense, dark, and full of hidden cave systems under the ground. It is said that at night, the spirits of the forest rise and walk about the old trees, guarding and protecting them. Only those with strong hearts dare to enter here. Consequently, this forest has become a stronghold for the Revolution. In secret, Werewolves and their allies have been making their way into the Great Forest and coming together to join in arms against the Brotherhood of the Sun.
The Ancient City of Lunera (4 sub-boards) In the heart of the forest lies the ancient city of Lunera. Though few who seek it ever find it, it is said that the city calls to Were-kin and those of pure hearts who wish to assist them. This sylvan city is a tight-knit community of Were rebels. Its ancient temples and magnificent structures are guarded by walls like a fortress. Located in the foothills of the Razorspine Mountains is the ancient city of Lunera. Once a heavily populated and thriving city of Were-kind, it was laid to waste five hundred years ago during a Vampiric seige. Now the Werewolves are rebuilding it, using it as a stronghold and headquarters of the Lycan Revolution against the Brotherhood of the Sun. Moderator: Ragnar Thorson
The Razorspine Mountains (2 sub-boards) An extreemly dense mountains region very rich with wildlife. Completly wild, and completely dangerous. Werewolves aren't the worst threat in this region. Many speces come here to hunt. As in, nowhere is safe here. The Werwolves run the show, though. They make sure the delicate balance in this coniferous biome stays in order, even at the cost of others.
Other Realms (4 sub-boards) Looking for something more? Perhaps an adventure? Take a journey to the Other Realms. Here you will find a variety of landscapes for your inner explorer to discover. Enter the unforgiving deserts wastelands of the post-Beyond Reality world or bathe under jungle waterfalls. If you are feeling extra adventurous, you may even be interested in taking a journey to the gates of hell themselves...
