"Trintis. Elisa Trintis," she said, smiling. She was glad that she had the job. Now she would have something to do during the days. She had thought this store was interesting when she had walked in and now she could see it more often.

Elisa took a seat in the bean bag. She thought momentarily about the growl she had heard. She wondered if he was something like a werewolf. The smell of the forest was all over him, even without heightened senses. Then again, he could be a shape-shifter. Either way, it was nice that she could find someone to talk with. As he spoke, she smiled. "Yes. As a matter of fact, I consider it my home most of the time. I'm not really used to the city as much," she replied honestly. Elisa wondered what had prompted the question, but didn't ask. after all, she was there for him to talk to.

Thaden made his way through the dark and dingy streets of St. Demona. It had been some time since he'd been here, and things were pretty much the same as they had always been. The moon hung high in the ebony sky, and called to him, as it always did. As he passed a window, he stopped to look at his reflection. His long, shaggy, red-blonde hair hung down over his black lether trench-coat. His newly aquired beard suited him well, he thought. He wore no other top, which exposed the muscles underneath. His jeans were ragged and faded and his black boots well worn. Standing at 6'4" he towered over everyone in the street. He looked intimidating...and kind of rustic. But he still to this day couldn't get over his own eyes. His eyes had this wild look to them...as if he were an animal...and an animal he was.
The full moon was tomorrow, which was a big deal if you were a Lycan. His other half would have almost complete control of his entire being. He'd learned over the years to coexist with the wolf inside and had gained a great deal of control. However, when the moon was full, his primal instincts couldn't be denied.
The wolf was a social creature and longed to be with it's own kind in a pack. Thaden's particular DNA had given him the blood title of an Alpha. He'd had a pack of his own long ago, but time had been cruel and now he was a rogue. A lone wolf who had been made to learn how to fend for himself. He wondered the realm now in search of some sense of belonging, but so far, his search had been in vain.
The lonliness hade a two-fold effect, however. During the week leading up to the full moon, Lycans had another problem to deal with as well...something called by thier people, Moonheat. By definition, it was the instinctual need to mate. In that week, Were's had an unexplicable urge to procreate and for lack of a better term...fornicate...as many times as possible. And having the Alpha blood Thaden did, that effect was multiplied....but he had to contain it. For obvious reasons, intercourse with a werewolf could be...well...quite dangerous.
That's why he was here...to try to lose himself in the decay of the city, so that maybe, his lust wouldn't overtake him. Even here, though it was difficult. The lycan's nose was it's strongest sense. It could tell the story of everything that had been in a place for the past three days, and tonight, Thaden's was working against him.
He would pass a woman on the street and smell the lingering scent of her past nights activity, the intoxication of her purfume, the fullness of her hair, and the bead of sweat that trickled down her neck. Not to mention he could hear the slight swish that thier skirts made along flawlessly smooth legs. It was making him crazy. His mind would constantly wonder into thoughts of debautchery. 'This was a bad idea' he thought as he turned to head out of the city. It was then that he caught the scent of somehing so alluring, that he involuntarily froze in place, his eyes scanning for the source...

Thaden shrugged a bit and chuckled. "I suppose I've had a lot on my mind recently," he said, "why don't you sit down? Drinks are on me."He smiled as he motioned to the other bean-bag next to the fire-place. The girl's scent was driving the wolf in him crazy. The wolf was suspicious of her...and he had this driving urge not to let his guard down. But why?
She looked harmless enough, but he'd been around far too long to base things on apperances. What was she? She had this hint of the forest on her, but he knew that place inside and out...and he'd never seen her there before. Still, she had come to talk to him because she said he looked troubled. He decided that she couldn't seriously have malicious intentions. He thought it best, though, that she not know what he was...if he hadn't already given it away.
Most people had some vendetta against his kind, and due to the warnings his more primal self was sending, he gathered that she probably wouldn't be too friendly toward the Lycan population. But a harmless conversation couldn't hurt...right? "Have you passed through the forest recenty?" he asked curiously, hoping to gain a better sence of what exatly she was..

Elisa tightened her grip on her mug, but otherwise showed no sign of being startled. "My name is Elisa. Elisa Trintis," she said, reaching her hand out to shake his. "I thought you seemed overwhelmed by your thoughts and came to offer someone to listen." Her eyes were very clear, hiding her true self deep behind the innocence. While it wasn't assumed she was dangerous, she did carry a beaver-tail knife strapped to her inner thigh. She was good with a blade occasionally as well as with archery. Being an elf, Elisa was light on her feet and that came in handy should she need to fight. However, most never picked a fight with her, assuming she was just a little girl always stuck in her own little fantasy world.

The tap startled the wolf inside and he reacted by quickly jumping away to face whatever it was that touched him. An involuntary growl was cut off when he noticed the girl. He felt embarassed. He'd just made a fool of himself in public...luckily there wasn't many people out this late.
"Sorry for that, " he said, looking at the floor, "you just startled me, is all." He then managed to get a better look at her. She was a beautiful girl...but there was a certain odor to her that the wolf didn't immediatly recognize. What was she? Could she be dangerous? He scanned her quickly with his eyes and he could see no sign of the Brotherhood of the Sun about her, so he eased up a bit. "Now that I've gone and embarrased myself, my name's Thaden Brooks, he said offering her his hand, "how can I be of service?"

Kiara Nightshade came through the rain forest, having heard that elementals and other creatures lived here. Hopefully she could find out what she could about her parents. If she was lucky, which she hadn't been lately, she could find her actual parents here. She wondered around, looking for any creatures that she could find through these trees and the light fog.
Stepping over roots, Kiara took her own winding trails just to find a hint of another being around. She'd been walking for hours and caught her ankle on a root not too long ago. It was beginning to become painful, so she sat on a rather large protruding root and rest her ankle for a bit.

Elisa had been looking around for somewhere that was nice and quiet. She was wearing a tan dress similar to her others of varying light colors. Her long black hair was hanging like a curtain over her shoulders. A cafe caught her eye and she went inside to investigate. As she entered, she noticed that it was mostly empty. Elisa had gotten herself a mug of milk tea before coming toward the fire. There was a man there that just seemed to be staring at it, thinking. She had found that in order to not feel overwhelmed, it was best to talk about whatever bothers you. Her thought was to help him. She wasn't completely sure what he may have been, but she was confident in her abilities to protect herself. She came up right behind him, reaching out to tap his shoulder.
