Triska felt his arm on her waist, and a razor blade anger struck her in the chest. She wanted to turn around and scream at him to get off her, to leave her alone. She wanted to storm off, fling herself onto her bed and push her face into the pillows. She wanted to throw something very expensive at a wall and hear it smash- because she knew that what she was doing now, she'd done it before, and it had ended up in death.

But she never got a chance to do any of that, because the next thing she felt was the tug on her body and the warmth of his lips to hers, the familiar comfort of his body heat, the safety of knowing she was in his arms. Her palms were upon his chest, ready to push him back again, ready to walk away, but her resistance crumbled and Triska found that no matter how much she knew she should pull away, there was something stronger that told her not to.

Sam held her tight to him, his lips pressing fiercely against hers. He nearly let out a moan of excitement when she didn't push him away. Keeping his lips on hers, he bent slightly and lifted her up, slipping an arm under her legs whilst holding her tightly around the waist. He pulled back slightly and looked into her eyes, wishing she could look back at him. I love you, he thought, knowing she would only laugh if he said that to her. Instead he began walking towards the open door of the plush bedroom. As he walked he kissed her gently again, keeping his eyes open to see where he was going.

If a bomb had exploded right outside the hotel room window, Triska wouldn't have noticed it. All that she was aware of was his lips against hers, the feeling of his breath, his heartbeat, his hands pulling her up and pressing her weight closer to him. It was as if her entire head was filled with thick fog, and there was just the little part of her sanity sitting in the middle of it all screaming for attention, screaming for her to stop. That little part of her mind went ignored, as did everything else.

Her misted eyes glazed over as she felt everything she'd missed before, everything she'd been truly blind to. A part of her saw a tortured soul, a soul she suddenly felt like she could heal. How come now everything was clear and yet so much more clouded than before? A fog lifted over parts of her mind only to settle upon others. But she saw it, felt it - his altruism, and her heart felt like it was suddenly lodged in her throat. Now she couldn't avert her worthless eyes away from where she knew his to be.

Approaching the bed, Sam braced his legs, lowering Triska gently down. Leaning over her, his arms taking his full weight, he kissed her again before standing up and shutting the bedroom door. It was dark in the room, the window letting in the blues and purples of the night sky. Sam's gaze wandered back to the bed and he smiled, drinking in the image of Triska lying on the bed. Slowly, almost scared she'd jump up and slap him again, he approached the bed and slid down beside her. He reached out a trembling hand and ran a finger down the soft skin of her cheek, continuing down her neck and to the curve of her breast, before he lost confidence and pulled away again. "I..I..." He just couldn't make the words form in his throat. Taking a deep breath, he stilled himself. "I haven't done anything like this in such a long time..." He sounded pathetic, a stupid little school boy, but in truth, the last time he'd been this close to a woman, he had been exactly that.

Things were blurred, hazy. Her finger tips were alive as they roamed across his skin and her lips were electric against his, but here eyes were deader than ever before, her ears were thudding with her pulse, losing everything that wasn't connected to her skin into a whorl of oblivion.

Then she felt the soft resistance of the mattress and duvet beneath her back as he laid her down. Triska's hands slipped down to the covers, appreciating the satin bed sheets. As he moved away the world came swimming back to her then- her world was like watching ghost shapes in the fog. The click of a door, and then she became even more startlingly aware of the soft indigo light against her clouded eyes.
Sitting up briefly, she picked out the laces of her boots with skillful, nimble fingers, kicked them off and heard them tumble heavily to the floor as she flopped back down, feeling Sam approach and the depression in the bed as he laid down beside her.

As he was more than likely looking at her face, Triska saw in other ways- the feeling of his breath, the pulse of his heart... she could feel it all clearer than ever. And when he drew away his hand and his voice came to her ears, she rolled over, fingers meeting his face as they traced across his forehead, brow, following the curve of the eye and cheekbone. He could be seen clearer than ever before, and it was almost as if her misty, silvered eyes saw directly what her hands did. They brushed down, found his lips. She kissed them.

Sam felt his lips tingle as she pressed hers against his. Slowly but deliberately he slid his arms around her, holding her close to him. His senses were alive as he ran a finger up her back, the gesture bringing his body to life with he intimacy. He slid a tentative hand beneath her top and carressed the soft skin of her back; his rough, calloused fingers an embarrasment next to the satin quality of her skin. He shuddered, passion coursing through his veins as he made the kiss deeper.

Triska's palms were flat against his chest, able to feel every single vein, every palpitating artery, the sensations of his pulsing heart and breathing lungs rippling through his ribcage and against her skin. It was far more intimate than anything anyone else would ever feel in their lives.
Her legs intertwined with his, her loose hair falling over her cheeks and cascading down like a veil of secrecy, moon eyes suffused with a glow of warmth and safety. He deepened the kiss, and she leaned into it, mirroring it with a hunger for contact. She felt his hands over her back, reveling in the sensation of his rougher hands.
Her lips worked downwards, across his jaw bone, along the scar on his neck. They found the little crevice above his collar bone and the smooth curve of one broad shoulder. Then again they found his bottom lip, her teeth grazing against it as she brought up her left hand and lay it across his eyes, blocking out the light, effectively blindfolding him. Triska willed him to see things as she did, by smell, by touch, by taste and hearing. By the four senses that she had managed with ever since she was four.
"Welcome to my world," she murmured, her breathing light as she kissed him again.

Sam's breath came in short, sharp bursts as he was plunged into simulated blindness. Straight away his other senses heightened; he could feel her hovering millimeters above him, feel the way the miniscule hairs which covered his arms stood on end as she kissed him, hear the rustling of the bedclothes as she shifted her body weight. Reaching slowy up to her, not wanting to buffet her in the face with a clumsy hand, he slipped his arms around her back and pulled her against him desperate to taste her lips again, feel that spark run through him again. In his temporary blindness, he missed her lips a couple of times before they finally made contact, his embrace firm and passionate. He couldn't believe the emotions she bought out in him. He felt his true age; not battered and scarred by maturity being thrust apon him. He felt alive.

There, above him, cloaking his eyes, Triska felt a surge of strength empower her. She was in control now, crafting him as she willed, choosing what to allow him and what to take away. But it wasn’t the control that was empowering, no. It was the fact that he had no control over his sight, a feeling that Triska knew all too well. She had chosen temporary blindness for him, he’d had no say in the matter, and it was that lack of choice, that feeling of being subjected to the darkness -- suffering it, almost, in times of despair -- that made Triska feel that this blindfold provided by her hands was the closest that he would ever get to knowing her world. That was the empowering thing.

Sightless as such, he missed her lips on more than one occasion. A smile curved her lips. She was patient until he hit the mark and got it right. Triska straddled his chest, her spine arched over gracefully to lower herself to him. She shifted her hands, until her fingers lay across his brow, temples, and in his soft, sweet-smelling hair, leaving only her thumbs resting lightly on his eyelids. He’d be able to see light; she knew it, meaning that he’d have the same level of light perception as her.

Sam shivered under her touch, his body and mind yearning for her. "Triska," he murmered, faint light filtering through his eye lids. His hands slid down her back before tugging off her clothes and shivering at the touch of her skin against his. "I promise I'll keep my eyes closed if you just kiss me again," he whispered, excerting pressure on her back, pulling her towards him. His throat was dry but he didn't care. The burning pain was nothing in comparison to the need he felt to be near her, touching her, inside her. If she didn't yeild soon, he may actually die. His breathing was fast and ragged as he caught the scent of her on a soft breeze wafting through the window and stirring the curtains.

((Sorry! I didn't realise you'd responded.))

Triska allowed him to slip her clothes off, even shrugging her black shirt off over her head without any protest at all, before other articles of clothing followed, only to be strewn across the floor, she imagined, in the most unceremonious arrangement possible. Her buttersoft skin slid smoothly against his, warm flesh touching. Obeying his touch, she pressed her chest against his so that they were stomach-to-stomach, face-to-face, and she gently moved her thumbs so that they rested at the outer corners of his eyes, brushing his eyelashes. She lowered her face to his, close enough that their noses touched and her lips barely grazed his own. She was teasing him.
